Editorial Policy
How our content is researched, written, and medically reviewed: our commitment to accurate, trustworthy, evidence-guided health education.
These policies are reviewed and updated periodically. Last updated: August 11, 2026
Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust
Our content aims to reflect real clinical experience and current evidence. We publish health education to inform, never to replace a consultation with your own clinician.
How content is written
- Topics are grounded in reputable, current clinical sources.
- Drafts are written in plain language and cite sources where appropriate.
- Claims avoid hype and disclose uncertainty and off-label use candidly.
Medical review
Clinical content is reviewed by a qualified provider before publication, using a byline such as "Medically reviewed by [Provider], FNP-BC · last reviewed [date]". The reviewer byline must always be accurate. [Clinical leadership to confirm reviewer and cadence.]
Updates & corrections
We review content periodically and update it as evidence evolves. We correct errors promptly and note the last-reviewed date on clinical articles.
Independence
Educational content is editorially independent of any promotional goals; treatment recommendations are made only within an established clinical relationship.
